'The Fixer' playground

Introducing the exciting new playground that we hope to build at Grace. I know, I know it doesn't look like much now but watch this blog :)
We are really excited to have Dean and Kerry Tolhurst and their business The Fixer www.thefixer.net.au giving ongoing support, which is going to pay for this fantastic creation of a play ground. It may not look like 'Queens Park' , but with the team we have I'm sure it will be just as good for the kids at the Grace Centre in Bahir Dar.

We are all very excited and nervous all in one, now that we only have a few days before heading off. Please continue (or begin!) to pray for us and for our families we are leaving behind... no tears going on here!!! (fibbing!)

The next you here from us will hopefully be from Dubai.

Bye for now...

Team Building with Russ & Mary

We have been so blessed to have Mary speaking into our lives with her wealth of knowledge from the mission field. We also had Russ come and play those fantasitic & challenging games he is so famous for. How wonderful to have these great resources at our finger tips and we certainly feel much better prepared after spending time with these two great people.

And in this photo Josh is a true reflection of the impact Russ and Mary have had!!! Just kidding... Josh got like that all on his own and that is why we are so glad he is part of this team.

Our passports arrived back today with our Visa's stamped and approved - no backing out now.
The count down is on...
Catch up with you again soon.

And it begins

Hi Everyone,
This is our first entry of many. I thought I would start with a photo of some of our Fab fundraising team. Yep that's Noel and Trav all dressed up for the ladies selling balloons at $5 a pop... And they managed to sell every single one. I think it was the hair that did it... and I had to put this photo in also of the faithful Andrea (& Wayne taking the photo) looking after the stall at The Gap Uniting Church fundraiser.
So welcome aboard and we hope you enjoy all the ups and downs with us.
